Tavish Lahay-Decker, H.B.Sc.(KIN), C Ped(C), Canadian Certified Pedorthist

Tavish was introduced to the field of pedorthics through volunteering during her university career. During this time she had the opportunity to shadow personal trainers, chiropractors and physiotherapists however it was with her involvement in gait training a child with cerebral palsy that sparked her interest in pedorthics. After volunteering with Kimberly Rau, she knew that a career in pedorthics was the right fit for her. Through her volunteer work with various fitness programs, with both special populations as well as healthy, Tavish has gained an appreciation for maintaining physical activity while preventing injuries.

After graduating from the University of Waterloo in 2009 with her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology she completed the Pedorthic Program at the University of Western Ontario in 2011. Tavish has a keen interest in pedorthics education and in the future plans on contributing to the educational goals and training of future pedorthists.

Kimberly Coates, H.B.A.(KIN), C Ped(C), Canadian Certified Pedorthist

ANNOUNCEMENT
July 31, 2011
We would like to inform you that Kimberly Coates is no longer practicing with Kimberly Rau & Associates in the KW area. Kimberly has been a huge asset to our practice both personally and professionally and we are sad to know that she will no longer be working with us. Kimberly’s personal life and family is centered in Toronto. We have known for a long time that the day would come when Kimberly would tire of the commute from downtown Toronto and while she loves her job, the lab, the clinics, all the people she works with as well as her clients, the drive has become too much. This has not been an easy decision for Kimberly. We are so grateful for all Kimberly’s contributions over the past 6 years and will continue to remain very close friends.

As a client of Kimberly Rau & Associates and a personal client of Kimberly Coates, we would like to assure you that we will continue to serve your orthotic and footwear needs and carry on the quality service that you have experienced to date.
